Site Digitization

Site Digitization orders initiate the digitization of equipment based on the site layout you provide.

Once completed, you will have a digital twin of your solar asset. These orders are typically only necessary when you wish to access the digital twin prior to receiving the first inspection report for a site.

  • Digital Twin creation and access prior to an inspection deliverable

Standard

Standard level aerial inspections balance altitude, speed, and granular site data, from high level inverter issues down to sub-module hot spots.

  • Detect all anomaly types

  • Track degradation and escalation of sub-module anomalies

Standard

Comprehensive

Comprehensive level aerial IR inspections are performed in compliance with IEC standards. It provides highly detailed, sub-module-level granular data and allows teams to thoroughly understand the performance of each PV module. This inspection level offers temperate deltas and enables accurate sorting and prioritization of both module and string-level anomalies by temperature intensity.

  • Detect all anomaly types
  • Identify temperature deltas on sub-module anomalies

  • Support warranty and insurance claims

Comprehensive

Overview

An Overview inspection is flown at the highest altitude and allows for string, inverter and combiner issues to be identified.

  • Identify large outages quickly

Agrivoltaics - Animal Assessment

Assess the condition and location of animals on the solar site mitigates a number of risks for the owner and operator. The inspection deliverable includes a count of visible animals (e.g. sheep) in the targeted area as well as localized anomalies for any trapped, injured or deceased animal in the targeted area.

  • Animals used on site must be monitored for their safety and the safety of the array.

BESS Yard

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Yard inspections provide technicians and operators with actionable findings which help reduce the risk overheating components, wildlife intrusion, and signs of damage.

  • Inspect large or restricted areas quickly without interrupting system operation or exposing personnel to energized equipment
  • Proactive tool for maintaining the reliability and safety of utility-scale energy storage assets.

Capacity Testing

Capacity Testing inspections assess offline strings and combiners in real-time using livestream thermal imagery combined with Overview level anomaly detection. Detects thermal signatures that indicate faulty connections, defective components, or installation errors across string and combiner levels.

  • Ideal for coordinating with active site crews during the commissioning phase, enabling real-time validation of electrical connections and creating prioritized punchlists for commissioning teams to address before final energization.

Fire Watch - Reactive

Sentry Only: Having a docked drone on site can often be the quickest form of response to getting to the fire and to give all stakeholders a better understanding of the extent of the fire/damage.

  • Customers often lean on ROC/Sentry to be the fastest form of response to critical failures or threats to the site.
  • It is extremely critical that fires on site are addressed as quickly as possible.

Screenshot 2026-05-17 at 6.45.21 PM

Fire Watch - Scheduled

Sentry Only: Similar to Fire Watch - Reactive, however this inspection has no analytics. If a fire or smoke is detected, pilots will navigate to the fire and capture imagery which will be used for data analysis.

  • A prescheduled flight that will scan for signs of smoke or fire throughout the entire site.

Image Capture

Ad-hoc visual imagery inspection of equipment or site conditions Raw imagery (no analytics)

  • Confirm status of equipment or terrain after an incident.
  • Capture high-quality marketing/aesthetic imagery

Inverter Pad

Inverter pad inspections provide a routine look at the inverter pad from all sides

  • Gives operators a fully remote visual inspection of Inverter Pad

Screenshot 2026-05-17 at 6.58.15 PM

Livestream

Livestreaming from Raptor Solar Sentry provides live RGB or thermal video of the drone’s path in real time. Livestream inspections can be done as an add-on to any other inspection (where users can “ride along”) or as a standalone inspection allowing users to have an eye in the sky to view the state of the site or surrounding area looking for safety issues, fire, or conducting virtual site walks.

Met Station

Met station inspections provide a routine look at met stations on site from all sides

  • Gives operators a fully remote visual inspection of Met Station

Perimeter Monitoring

Perimeter inspections utilize orthomosaic, oblique and thermal and RGB imagery. Anomalies are classified into low, medium and high priority.

  • Detect anomalies such as perimeter breaches, security issues, structural integrity, and issues with access points, vegetation management and erosion.

Screenshot 2026-05-17 at 7.01.26 PM

POI

POI inspections focus on the point of interconnection (POI) to ensure that the connection between a solar power system and the electrical grid is safe, compliant, and ready for operation.

  • Identify interconnection issues at conductors, insulators, switches and terminations before they impact operations

  • Identify issues in visual spectrum, including compromised pole integrity and wildlife intrusion
  • Reduce troubleshooting time, site downtime and safety exposure

POI

Security - Reactive

Reactive security inspections use thermal and RGB imagery. They rapidly assess perimeters and access points to identify unauthorized personnel, vehicles, or equipment.

  • Deployed in response to alarms or reported suspicious activity.

  • Confirmed activity triggers real-time alerts and captures imagery and video evidence to support immediate response and incident documentation.

Screenshot 2026-05-19 at 9.57.19 AM

Security - Scheduled

Pre-scheduled security inspections proactively monitor site perimeters and access points using thermal and RGB imagery to detect unauthorized personnel, vehicles, or equipment during day or nighttime hours.

  • Conducted at planned intervals, they provide consistent coverage across remote assets while reducing the need for on-site security personnel.
  • Any detected activity triggers real-time alerts and captures imagery and video evidence for documentation.

Severe Weather Response

Imagery is collected in RGB and/or thermal formats. All issues detected will be classified by severity of high, medium or low for filtering and prioritization.

  • Identify equipment or site damage as a result of severe weather
  • Based on the type of severe weather (e.g. hail storm, tornado, hurricane) a given inspection may provide insight into cracking, erosion and drainage-related issues across the site and within the site’s perimeter.

  • Safely monitor critical High Voltage (HV)  equipment

  • Validate substation Preventative Maintenance (PM) operations

  • Assess components after a grid disconnection

POI

Thin Film Cracking

Thin Film Cracking inspections identify small-scale cracking via a unique set of low-altitude flight specifications. This enables identification of cracking which may otherwise be undetectable from traditional aerial inspection. Highly recommend use of M3T or M30T due to increased image-capture rates.

  • Identify cracking damage after severe weather events

  • Mitigate potential fire risk caused by moisture intrusion, electrical faults or module degradation

Cracking

Tracker Bushing Identification

Tracker bushings, commonly manufactured by GameChange are plastic rings that enable Rotation/pivot of the tracker table and minimize friction allowing the table to move with ease. Bushing cracking and failure may lead larger issues involving the stability and durability of the entire row or tracker system.

  • These plastic rings have been systemically cracking and failing leading for a need to identify quantities and all instances of failure, most likely for claim purposes.

Screenshot 2026-05-18 at 9.54.48 AM

Tracker Stow Verification

Tracker stow confirmation inspections provide fast, site-wide visibility into actual tracker position. High-resolution aerial imagery and enhanced angle analysis verify stow compliance across every row, identifying isolated failures that SCADA data and spot checks miss.

  • Provides operators real-time confidence that protective measures are working, and enables rapid corrective action when they are not
  • Delivers accurate reporting that supports risk management and insurance requirements.
